Plastics Compounding is in our DNA
While RESIN has formally only been in operation since May 2006, our plastics compounding knowhow stretches back more than 25 years. Our facility and much of our staff came to RESIN in a management buyout of the compounding operations of well-known lawn & garden furniture manufacturer, Hartman. We're old enough to be experienced, yet young enough to be innovative.
Polyolefin-Based Compounds for the Automotive, Building, Consumer Goods and Industrial and Packaging Markets
Besides our core business producing polypropylene (PP)-based compounds for consumer goods, we manufacture a broad range of thermoplastic compounds for automotive, building, industrial, and packaging markets. A recent capital equipment upgrade has provided RESIN (Products & Technology) B.V. with a state-of-the-art plastic compounding infrastructure. Our extruders are capable of manufacturing high volumes of a broad range of reinforced or unreinforced plastic compounds. In addition, RESIN's in-house testing laboratory is able to perform required material and quality verification.
As of 1 April 2011, RESIN has acquired the Yparex® business from DSM Engineering Plastics B.V. The Yparex portfolio consists of maleic-anhydride-(MaH)-modified and functionalized polyolefin compounds widely used as adhesive tie-layers to join olefin polymers with other materials (e.g. metals, polymers, stone, etc.) in packaging, pipe and conduit.

Our facility in Enschede sits near the border between The Netherlands and Germany, making us well positioned to supply customers in Germany, the Benelux union, Eastern Europe, and elsewhere on the European continent.
